RAINBOW KITCHEN
The Victoria Cougars are honoured to support Rainbow Kitchen, an organization based in Esquimalt dedicated to providing free hot meals and facilitating food sharing for those in need. Rainbow Kitchen plays a crucial role in enhancing food security throughout our community.
Aligning with our commitment to community welfare, we are grateful to contribute to their mission. Throughout our season, we will host designated game days where admission will be waived in exchange for non-perishable food donations.
By leveraging our platform, we aim to raise awareness and support for this vital initiative. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in ensuring no one goes without a meal in our community.
HOCKEY GIVES BLOOD
Victoria Cougars proudly supports Hockey Gives Blood, a non-profit society founded in 2018 by former hockey players committed to making a difference in the hockey community. In partnership with Canadian Blood Services, Hockey Gives Blood educates and engages the hockey community on the critical importance of blood, plasma, stem cell, and organ & tissue donation.
Our dedicated director, announcer, and promotions executive, Scott Adams, has been instrumental in our involvement with Hockey Gives Blood. Scott’s passionate advocacy has empowered our players to participate in seasonal blood drives, raising awareness and encouraging donations that save lives.
Together with Hockey Gives Blood, we are committed to fostering a culture of giving and making a positive impact both on and off the ice.
